The shop has been sold and life has moved on to bigger and better things. A big thank you for all of the wonderful customers that came by the shop.
TripAdvisor now shows our coffee shop in their list of Victoria restaurants. Their site is one of my favourites for finding local hotels, restaurants and shops. You will now see this badge on the main site to see our current rating (we just started so we are at the bottom of the list, we need your reviews to help us climb the list!):

Looks like word is spreading and the Floating Dessert Shoppe is a hit! Good Life Vancouver has just posted a review of our site today.
Yesterday we were getting phone calls and e-mails from people saying they’ve seen our shop being promoted in various newspapers and websites! A quick search on Google shows tons of places now mentioning our coffees and desserts at our new floating dessert shoppe!

Wow, looks like lots of people are curious to hear about our dessert and coffee shop! The graph below shows the number of people visiting the site each week over the past seven weeks.
The numbers aren’t huge, yet, but look at the climb in that graph!

One of our customers mentioned that we were included in an article in the Vancouver Sun! And see the link below, we are not making this up! It says that Fisherman’s wharf is boasting about us! Wow, we feel so famous now!
It also says that we serve the best coffee and desserts in Victoria! It’s true! OK… they didn’t really say that, but the coffee and desserts are really good!
So remember to visit us next time you are in the area and stop by and say hi. If you’re nice we may even sign some autographs!
After being open for a few days, we are visited by Lucas Gaudette, an artist and a blogger. He was soo impressed with our shop he wrote about us in his blog!
“…two lovely ladies selling coffee and cupcakes made from local ingredients. I can personally vouch for both the quality of these women and the tasty snacks they make. Wow, those cupcakes are good.”
